How To Become A Moderator On Clubhouse

Are you a user of Clubhouse? Wondering how to start an attractive ClubHouse room and manage the audience? In this article, you'll learn how professionals organize and manage a Clubhouse room. Learn to add more moderators, get people on stage, mute people, and more.

First: How to Create a Room In ClubHouse?

First, start by entering a room name, which can be 60 characters long. You also have the option to add a co-host to your event. The co-host can cancel, edit, and remove people from the event, so be careful with whom you assign this role. And of course, choose the day and time of the event. If you are a member of a club, you also have the option to appoint the club.

The final step is to add a description to your event. The Clubhouse gives you 200 characters to describe your event so you can get detailed information if you want.

When you're done filling out your event details, tap Send at the top right. Your scheduled event will appear at the bottom of the screen. If you want to send your event to others, tap Share. You can also Tweet, copy the link or add it to your calendar from here.

How to manage a Clubhouse room?

When you are ready to start your event and allow people to be followers, hit “Start Room”. You will then see your scheduled event listed and you can start it.

When you spontaneously create a room in the clubhouse, you lose some of the advantages of a planned room. You will not receive a link that you can share or annotate. Tap Create area from the main lane to create a spontaneous walkway. You will then be asked to choose between three types of rooms: open, social, or indoor. There is a public room on the platform, a social room for the people you follow, and a closed room for the people you invite to the room.

Clubhouse Moderation

When managing a room in the clubhouse, one of the first things to do is to set the rules for the room. Introduce yourself, the theme, and the rules of the room to club followers.

  • A good moderator ensures that the conversation goes smoothly. Here are some tips and functions you can use to control the dialogue, manage speakers, and keep the conversation going.

People are constantly coming in and out of your room. If you want to see how many people are in the current room, tap All Rooms at the top of the screen. In the bottom left, you will see your face as the moderator of the room, the face of the next person, a plus sign, and a number.

If you notice that this number continues to increase, you may want to introduce yourself and explain what is happening in the room, also called room reset.

You can reset a room as follows:

  • "Hello everyone, there are a lot of new people in the room, so I want to reset the room quickly. I'm here to do it today ... Here's how to get involved ..."

Perform a reset every 10-15 minutes, depending on how many people are in the room.
